We had resevations and went with family and friends 9 total for granddaughter's UF graduation dinner. At the table gave us menu's but when ready to order took menus back and said would have to wait since had to print new ones. About fifteen minutes later fnally took our orders and when food served two members of our party had ordered lasagne and when served was cold. We assume took out of a cooler/refrigerator and not warmed up. Waitress took both dinners back and about 15 minutes later returned with both dinners piled on one plate. Did not look good and both diners said would not eat a combined pile of lasagne. Waitress said could order something else but both diners based on what happened and other diners almost done esting refused but were offered one free desert, assume to share, they refused that offer. Other meals good but not special, could get the same quality at most Italian restaurants even chains. It seems the new menus due to graduation from UF was the same items with two substitutions all priced higher since "UF graduation"day" nothing special except higher prices. UF students and alumni should be upset for these issues and would not recomend. NOTE waitress very good

We loved this restaurant under its original owner, and after his passing, we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! The new owners have done an incredible job. The beautifully remodeled atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely phenomenal—honestly even better than we remembered. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. It’s clear the new owners have poured their hearts into this place while honoring its legacy. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend giving it a try!

We've been waiting for Amelia's to reopen and it was worth the wait! It is beautifully remodeled and the food was delicious! The clams appetizer was excellent. We tried grouper, veal and chicken dishes and they were so good! Our waitress Mia was excellent and Nicole was a gracious hostess. We highly recommend Amelia's for a wonderful dining experience!

Great new restaurant in Gainesvile! The food was spectacular: steaks done perfectly, chicken picatta was amazing, penne ala vodka was so flavorful! Our server, Cade, was outstanding-very personable and made excellent recommendations. They were out of some items as it was the very busy grad week, but there were still many good options and everything we tasted was delicious. We talked to the owner and they have only been open a week. Support this new, wonderful restaurant. You'll be glad you did.

A bit off the beaten trail, but those are the best hidden gems. Great food, atmosphere, and service! One member of our party had a small problem with their food, fixed it with a smile, no harm no foul there. Only small complaint is that our party table wasn't set up and Gainesville was battling some fires. I had to sit outside with random ash falling into my hair until the table was set. Besides the fire, everything was great, will be going back.
